STORY
Every image in my collection has a story, so what is the story here?
This image was captured on the incredible untouched paradise that is Varela, a hidden stretch of beach in Guinea Bissau, near the Senegalese border. Only those who know about it and are brave enough to tackle the red tracks make it here. We took on the challenge in our 1997 Land Rover Defender 110 300TDi and were rewarded with stunning views and a real sense of isolation; the perfect place to capture an abstract shot of sunset, a shot that we hope transports the viewer to this magical place in West Africa.
This print is part of our ‘Limited Time Prints’ and will be available for only one month from the airing date (31st May) of our Overland Travel Photography Adventure Film, We Found Paradise Twice. Check out the story and watch our journey through this mesmerising country here.
